Dressing for a skinny man: What to wear
While most of us strive to be slimmer, there is something to be said for guys who never filled out and can't avoid jokes about being one wind blow away from a shattered bone. And while there are plenty of style guidelines for men who have neglected themselves, it is difficult to find guidance for their malnourished counterparts. We cannot help you become taller or gain muscular mass.
Say No To Stripes
Stripes are deceiving as they make tall people taller. If you're short and fat and have given up on a late growth spurt or diet, tremendous. A slender person doesn't benefit from a stripe pattern's vertical silhouette. It helps "well-built" males who wish to hide their terrible diet. If you need a design, try flowers or checks. Leave it on the shelf if you don't qualify.
Slender Layers
This part might be more helpful for our transatlantic readers feeling the cold. Still, tactical layering (knits over shirts, scarves, undercoats, open shirts over tees) adds weight to a skinny frame and is a great way to simultaneously play with texture and color. But only wrap yourself in a few layers. You'll end up sweating a lot and looking like an overprotective child on his way to school in the winter. Use one or two more layers; only take part of the store.
Know the Symmetry
Keeping a balanced appearance is the key to eliminating the unfair label of being a man with unmanly proportions. If the top half of your outfit is layered or entirely structured, the bottom half needs to follow the party line and vice versa.
Don't pair skinny jeans with a huge parka. When worn together, a tight t-shirt and straight-cut jeans will cause a lot of confusion. Putting your outfit together in blocks like this can make you look out of proportion when you should be trying to look bigger all around. If you follow the general idea of symmetry, no one will notice that you're the dirtiest guy in the group.
Enhanced vision clarity and eye care
Sunglasses help with vision, one of its most proven benefits. Sunglasses block dangerous UV rays and deflect harmful blue light away from the eyes. Since blue light from the eyes is the primary cause of vision loss, this is crucial for the health of your eyes. Your vision truly gets better by limiting the quantity of light entering your eyes!
Padding & Structure
If you can't find a suit that makes you look like an adult, you should rethink your taste in tailoring. Even though soft Neapolitan tailoring has become popular in Australia, the skinny guys in the crowd might benefit from a more English style.
Generally, this tailoring style is all about structure, like padded shoulders, thick canvas interlining, and a more rigid shape. A guy who weighs 50 kg wet can become (slightly) more dangerous with a bit of padding here and there and some structure there.
